TIPD154, Low-Power Reference and Bipolar Voltage Conditioning Circuit Reference Design for Low-Power ADCs
TIPD154, Low-Power Reference and Bipolar Voltage Conditioning Circuit Reference Design for Low-Power ADCs. This Precision Verified Design provides theory, component selection, and simulation for a single-supply, low-power signal conditioning circuit designed to translate a +/-5 V input signal to the proper input range of a single-supply low-power 16-Bit S ADC such as the one inside the MSP430 or other similar single-supply ADCs. A zero-drift Op-Amp was selected to provide excellent dc performance in the attenuation and level-shifting circuit. Two low-power reference circuits are used to provide power, the ADC reference voltage, and biasing to the input conditioning circuit
