In year 2001, Mobicon Group LTD expanded to other Asia countries. The acquisition of Remote Electronic Component Sdn Bhd and Remote Electronic Marketing Sdn Bhd (REMSB) lead Mobicon Group LTD established new companies - Mobicon Remote Electronic Sdn Bhd (MRM) in Malaysia and Mobicon Remote Electronic Pte Ltd in Singapore. Both companies are operated by General Manager Jasmond Chooi.
