New Concept Tools

New Concept Tools was started by Harry Prescott in 1978 in a samll workshop located in the rural town of South Barre, Massachusetts. Harry had been active in the waterworks business beginning at a very young age, following in the footsteps of his father Harry R. Prescott who began the waterworks supply company H.R. Prescott & Sons in West Bolyston, Mass in 1914. Harry felt the industry was lacking in good quality hand tools. He started out by making improvements to the design of existing tools so that they would be safer and easier to use.
