When we developed our first luminaire, the model was sketched quite classically with a pencil on paper. The idea generator of the Petzoldt Leuchten was at that time the father of the company founder. He had the vision to develop specially handlamps for the work operation. For him, the flashlight was the "door opener" to the workshop to sell tools there. Success proved him right. Five years later in 1968 we founded our GmbH.
