Farmers Marine Copper Works, Ltd

Farmer's Alloy Fabricating (established in 1920 as Farmer's Marine Copper Works, Ltd.) was founded by brothers Leslie and Sidney Farmer. Born in England, Les had come to America at the age of twenty. Already an experienced coppersmith, he began to service ships and machinery on the eastern seaboard. Sid had been critically wounded as a British soldier in World War I, and came to America at the end of the war.
