Parallel Resistance Calculator
This calculator measures the combined resistance of a circuit with up to five resistors connected in parallel.
Resistors in Parallel Circuits Formula
In a parallel circuit, in contrast to a series circuit, each resistor has the same potential drop, meaning each resistor receives the same amount of current. Adding more resistors in parallel increases the overall current in that circuit while decreasing the total resistance. However, the total voltage (V) across all of the resistors in a parallel circuit is identical.
