Prime Products, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Jim Herrmann Sr. and Ralph Quist. They opened a small shop on Roger B. Chafee Blvd in Wyoming, MI and began supplying painted mechanical avionics components to Jet Electronics. The company soon added rotary screen printing capabilities and began producing thousands of counter wheels for various aerospace customers.
