The mission of Marion Public Health is to protect the health of the community and improve the quality of life of our residents by preventing disease and teaching strategies for good health. We do this through our core programs and services offered by our environmental health and nursing divisions, such as inspections of restaurants, pools, and schools (environmental health) and through immunizations, communicable disease investigations, and disease prevention.
