General Power, Inc

Starting out in the 1940's as Harbour Tires, in Tucson, AZ, and selling Trojan batteries as a distributor - General Power became a "rebuild battery shop" in Phoenix, AZ by the 1950's, which eventually expanded into a full-line battery manufacturer throughout the 1960's. Then - as Power King, Ltd - we merged with a national competitor (General Battery Corp.) in the 1970's and finally became known as General Power in 1979. General Power then designated Tucson as its central headquarters in multi-state distributing operations for the Rocky Mountain region, the Midwest, and the West.
