Founded in 2001 by Semiconductor industry veterans, Microflex quickly became the dominant supplier of seals for modular surface mount gas panels. The Microseal family of products utilizes a unique patented honeycomb design that allows it to achieve full compression and sealing at dramatically lower forces than a traditional metal gasket. This technology has been integral to the industry wide transition from conventional VCR style gas panels to the much smaller modular gas panel footprint.
