The story about how FELDER GMBH was established is something of a fairy tale: In 1979 the company's founders,Wilhelm Priester and Uwe Felder, started the machine production of different types of soldering wire and flux for wholesale businesses in the sanitary/heating, welding technology, tools and auto accessory sectors. A disused railway carriage in a siding at the Duisburg goods yard served as a storage facility.
