One of the world's leading alloy rim cleaners was originally developed as a simple solution to a problem. In the seventies of the last century, Dr. O.K. Wack bought a second-hand BMW with extremely soiled rims, which, apart from looking ugly also was hazardous to the rims' surface. Dr. Wack's search for commercially available cleaners that would also protect the material was to no avail.
