Rite Engineering & Manufacturing Corp

Rite Engineering began manufacturing boilers in downtown Los Angeles in 1952. As the demand for boilers grew, Rite was soon in need of a larger facility. In 1957 Rite broke ground for a new factory just south of Los Angeles in an area where orange groves once stood. Just down the street was Downey's North American Rockwell plant that built many of the Apollo spacecraft and another company that made Apollo Motor Homes.
