The Precision Motors Deutsche Minebea GmbH, based in Villingen-Schwenningen, is the largest engine development center in the international network of the Japanese MinebeaMitsumi Inc., Tokyo. PM DM develops electronically commutated BLDC motors, innovative drive technologies and Energy Harvester systems and is certified according to IATF 16949: 2009 and ISO 14001: 2004. In addition to drive systems for the automotive sector and industry, the product portfolio also includes hard disk motors with integrated FDB technology. FDB stands for "Fluid Dynanmic Bearing".
