By the time William Hockenberger was 24 he had already saved $8000 and set up a tool and die operation in the basement of his partner's home. Hockenberger knew at the time that major manufacturers needed a company specializing in difficult-to-source and engineering-driven projects. With this vision, PGM grossed over 75k in their first year and never turned back. PGM was soon recognized industry-wide for the tight tolerances they were able to achieve as well as the quality of their work and commitment to customer service.
