In September 2015, the Seiko Instruments Inc. semiconductor business was spun off from Seiko Holdings Group as an independent maker of analog semiconductors and named Seiko Semiconductor Corporation. Now, we welcome the Development Bank of Japan as our largest shareholder and take the first step under Seiko Semiconductor Corporation's new name of ABLIC Inc. as of January 2018.
