Texscan-MSI

Texscan-MSI was founded in 1980 from the purchase of MSI Corp.by Texscan Inc of Indianapolis Indiana.MSI (Marketing Systems Inc.) was a manufacturer of Character Generators for Cable Television Companies that enabled text overlay messaging to television viewers. Texscan Inc. manufactured electronic test equipment. After Texscan-MSI was formed they added analog commercial advertising insertion equipment to the product line. Texscan-MSI became the premier supplier of electronic advertising equipment nation-wide. Texscan Corp including Texscan-MSI was sold to ANTEC Corp. in 1995.
