Zixel, Ltd, has been in business of custom magnetics since 1991 when several bio-medical companies in Minneapolis area ran into supply problems for their specialty pulse transformers. The company was started by a former R&D director at Empi, Inc. a dynamic new TENS company in the area. In a few years Zixel, ltd. became a preferred supplier of custom magnetics for bio-medical industry in Minnesota.
