The MX604TN is a low voltage, low power CMOS integrated circuit designed for the reception and transmission of asynchronous 1200bps data and full-duplex 75bps back channel data, conforming to CCITT V.23 and ETSI specifications. It features an optional Tx and Rx data retiming function and an optional line equalizer to improve performance over varying line conditions. With a 3.3V supply, the device consumes only 1mA in operating mode and 1uA in zero-power sleep mode, making it ideal for portable terminals and line-powered telephone telemetry systems.
