In 1945, Tom O'Neill opened O'Neill Pump and Engineering on Franklin Street in Richmond. Mr. O'Neill operated as a manufacturer's representative for a number of pump companies, and in 1949 started a relationship with Aurora Pump and Viking Pump, two lines that Wood still represents today.
