IBS Tapes Ltd was started in 1962 as Industrial and Business Supplies Co. by Mr Brian Bateman and was located in Deanston Drive, Shawlands. It was the Distributor for 3M and Rotunda self adhesive tapes, and at that time the main competition was string and glue. The company grew and in 1977 moved into it's current location at East Kilbride and became I.B.S. (Tapes) Ltd.
