Dawicontrol was founded in 1986 and since then has been based in Göttingen. At the beginning, mainly system-related programs to increase the performance of PC systems were developed. In May 1991, a partnership agreement for developments in the area of the SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) interface with the company Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) was concluded.
