LAYERTEC, established in 1990 as a spin off from the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, produces high quality optical components for laser applications in the wavelength range from the VUV (157nm) to the NIR (~4µm). Since the beginning in the early 1990s LAYERTEC has worked for universities and research institutes worldwide and many important progresses in laser technology of the past years have been supported by LAYERTEC products.
